Getting the detail right
The models that work best at this scale are armless dining chairs and compact loungers: light enough to lift with one hand, tight enough to sit two at a 70 cm bistro table, and open in the weave so a small space does not feel furnished to its edges.
Colour does more work here than in a large garden. Pale rope and pale frames keep a balcony visually open; a dark frame with natural rope holds the eye and makes a narrow terrace feel intentional. Both are made to order, so the choice is a sample, not a guess.
